Privacy Policy

The short version

Turn and Tackle is an iPhone game, plus this website. The game collects no personal data and sends nothing to us or anyone else. This website counts visits without cookies.

Who is responsible

The controller is the operator named in the Imprint. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, email turnandtackle@viktor-braun.de.

The game

The game reads your iPhone's motion sensors (gyroscope and accelerometer) to know which way you are facing. That data is processed on your phone, frame by frame, and is never stored or transmitted. The only thing the game saves is your best score, on your phone. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising in the game today, and it makes no network requests.

If a future version adds advertising, purchases or online leaderboards, this policy will say exactly what changes before that version is released.

This website

This site counts page views with Umami, an analytics tool we host ourselves in the EU. It sets no cookies, stores no IP address and does not follow you across other sites. Our web server briefly logs the technical data every request carries (IP address, time, requested page, referrer, browser) to deliver the page, keep it running and stop abuse. These logs are short-lived and never used to profile you. The site loads no third-party fonts or scripts.

Legal basis and retention

Where personal data is involved, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Visitor statistics are kept only in aggregate. Server logs are deleted or anonymised after a short period.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or erasure of your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and complain to a data protection authority. Email turnandtackle@viktor-braun.de. In practice we hold no data that identifies you.

Children

The game collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

We update this policy when the game or the site changes, with a new date at the top.
